How are vehicles stored?
Vehicles are maintained indoors within The Vault’s dedicated automotive storage facility. Our approach is centered on providing a clean, secure, professionally managed environment appropriate for enthusiast and collector automobiles.
What happens when my vehicle arrives?
Each vehicle goes through an intake process that documents the automobile and its condition. A Vehicle Condition Report, including photographs, establishes the condition of the vehicle when it enters the facility.
Does my vehicle need to be insured?
Yes. All vehicles maintained at The Vault must remain properly insured by the owner. Members are responsible for maintaining the insurance coverage required under their storage agreement and providing proof of coverage when requested.
Does The Vault insure my vehicle?
No. Members remain responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance coverage for their vehicles. The Vault’s storage agreement establishes the respective responsibilities of the facility and vehicle owner.
Can The Vault accept vehicle deliveries?
Vehicle delivery and transport coordination may be available by advance arrangement. Members should contact The Vault before scheduling a transporter so appropriate access and vehicle receiving arrangements can be made.
Are there restrictions on what can be stored inside my vehicle?
Yes. For safety and insurance purposes, hazardous, flammable, illegal, perishable, or otherwise prohibited materials may not be stored in vehicles or elsewhere within the facility. Complete requirements are provided in The Vault’s Facility Rules and Fire Safety policies.
How secure is The Vault?

Can someone else pick up my vehicle?
Yes. Members may designate authorized drivers or individuals permitted to access their vehicles. For security purposes, authorization must be documented in advance and identification may be required.
What happens if my vehicle is damaged?
Any incident involving a member vehicle will be documented and communicated to the vehicle owner in accordance with The Vault’s operating procedures. Responsibility for loss or damage is governed by the Storage Rental Agreement and applicable insurance coverage.
Why is insurance required if the facility is secure?
Security measures reduce risk, but they cannot eliminate every possibility associated with storing an automobile. Maintaining appropriate vehicle insurance protects the owner and is a condition of storing a vehicle at The Vault.
Is The Vault just a storage facility?

Concierge services are intended to make enjoying your automobile easier. Depending upon the requested service and advance notice, The Vault may assist with preparing a vehicle for pickup, checking its basic condition, coordinating outside services, or accommodating other member requests.
Is there a workshop?
The Vault will eventually include workshop capabilities intended to support basic vehicle care and member needs. Workshop use is subject to facility rules, safety requirements, availability, and the type of work being performed.
Can I work on my own vehicle?
Certain member-performed activities may be permitted within designated areas. For safety, insurance, and operational reasons, work involving hazardous materials, extensive mechanical repairs, fabrication, painting, or other higher-risk activities may be restricted.
